Sweet little Charlie was so precious and already very alert, born only ten days prior to our session.  The best moments during my newborn sessions are when I get to see the interactions between the family - when baby hears his dad's voice, or when you see the look of content on baby's face when he snuggles close to his mommy, and the look in mommy's eyes when she soothes her newborn baby...

This is one of my favorites from our session - isn't mama SO beautiful?!

And of course, his four-legged brother, Phil, got in on the action, although rather cautiously ;-)
