Last week, I spent some time at Longwood Gardens with the Jenkins family.  One of the amazing things about photography is connecting with clients, meeting new people and reconnecting with familiar faces from the past.

Ready for this - Mr. Jenkins, "Papa" to these beautiful grand babies, was one of my 6th grade teachers!  Crazy, right?  I actually used the phrase "about 20+ years ago" referring to my own life - for those trying to the the math, I am 29ish ;-)

Anyway, back to the family...  Mr. and Mrs. Jenkins, "Nana," were both teachers and have been blessed with these gorgeous grandchildren.  I had such a nice time chatting with them both, reminiscing, and spending time with their family during our photo session.

Isn't this moment priceless?!  Sweeties :-)  Who could resist sneaking a kiss with that handsome little fella?!  What, no kisses for Bo?!  Silly Reagan ;-)

Seriously - such a gorgeous family!!  And yes, we got it - everyone is looking at the camera, woohoo!!

And these two beauties - I couldn't help but feel warm and fuzzy watching Olivia and Reagan together, thinking about my own two daughters.  They're so adorable, and I hope my own babies are as sweet and happy as these two little ladies are together as they grow into this precious stage.

My only hope is that the Jenkins' will cherish these images for years to come.  It is so important to make memories with your family and even better to freeze these happy moments in time whenever you can.  After this session, I am already getting the wheels in motion to plan a family photo shoot with my own extended family.  Thank you for the inspiration, Mr. and Mrs. Jenkins - you have an amazing family and it was SO great to connect with you after all these years.
