This was a first for me.  Typically, I am soothing a newborn to sleep or chasing around a toddler, all the while trying to capture that perfect shot.  But on this day, I had Jordan, a soon to be senior, and it was wonderful.  We couldn't have chosen a more perfect backdrop (good idea, mom!) - an old milking house converted into a book barn.  To say Jordan was in her element would be an understatement.  I was in awe as well - the barn is gorgeous, you know how much I appreciate all things antiquarian!  Surrounded by thousands of books, tucked neatly into shelves, stored in crates, along the stone walls and raw wood floors, it was really special.  We even found an old print one of her favorites, "Through the Looking-Glass."
