Of all the amazing things to see and nooks to explore at the arboretum, Theo was most interested in this...

Yep, the water fountain.

There were some bribes made, even a "game" to try and distract him but he caught our bluff.  Eventually his interest in the fountain waned.  We chased rabbits, we played in a birdhouse, blew bubbles.  And what session with a toddler boy wouldn't be complete without looking for trucks in the parking lot?

And, the H20 aftermath...

Here's a little secret... three year olds don't stay still until the end of the session.  Tire them out, and then get the "formal" family photo to pass onto the grandparents ;-)
